1.
I’m sick of feeling this. The mistrust we built was founded on instinct. Destructive by nature. We’ve both been here before, but this time it’s different. Were you caught up in notions that after college, your life would unfold onto movie screens? It’s all you’ve ever done; Speaking without your tongue. Whatever helps to make you fall asleep better late at night. Maybe I’m out of place. Or just a boy you could erase. I’ll never come to terms with what you’ve become. All dressed up, but where did you go? 6 am; You’re still not home. It was a constant cycle of who’s hurting who. That one bedroom apartment now divided in two. I’ll go my own way now. I’ll pretend I know how. I’ll live in tomorrow’s mistakes made from the framework that you laid. Oh, what a coincidence. He’s impressed by your tattoos of bands that I showed you. Oh, if only I could forget. But I’m broken and withdrawn on where it all went wrong. (And was I the problem?)

Dustybottoms 03:05
Everybody dies. It’s the only thing we have in common; Living life until we’re nothing. But where do we all go? You found the answer in your basement all alone until the morning came. Did you have enough? Was it worth the fun? They’re telling me you fell on dirty concrete. Will I see you soon? Will you still be you? Three thousand miles away, there’s nothing I could do. I remember summer days; PBRs and muddy lakes. Skating at the park. Eventually, we moved away to different parts of different states to try to find ourselves. Or did you run from your problems that were still at home? You found your medicine from that corner liquor store. You tried to heal that night you were hanging with your friends. But they were no where to be found when your body hit the ground. Everybody dies. But you were only 25. When I see you on the other side, could I convince God to give your life a second try?
